He was one of the best defensive players to ever take the field. Lawrence Taylor is a legend thanks to his time at linebacker for the New York Giants. Taylor would go on to earn $50 million throughout his career while making Pro Bowl after Pro Bowl. Taylor would end up filing for bankruptcy only five years after retiring from the NFL. He would later be found guilty for tax evasion. Taylor is an interesting person and his story is definitely worth reading up on, even if it ends with the man sadly bereft of everything that he once had.
