Stanley Wilson Sr.
Wilson was a fullback for the Bengals in the mid to late 80’s, however his career was consistently shrouded in scrutiny due to alleged frequent cocaine use. He was not involved in the 1985 or 1987 seasons due to suspension. Then in 1989, Wilson was going to be in the Super Bowl, but unfortunately before the game, he was found high as a kite. He was then subsequently banned from the league, having committed his 3rd drug offense. After the end of his career, the drugs and convictions kept coming though, culminating in 1999 when he was found to have stolen over $100,000 worth of property. In that year he was sentenced to 22 years by the State of California for burglary.
Dave Meggett
Former running back for the New York Giants, New England Patriots, and the New York Jets is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence for the rape and robbery of a Charleston, South Carolina woman. While his 3,708 punt return yards are currently the second most in NFL history, his career is still something that is linked to his heinous crimes.
