Owens’ life immediately fell apart once outside of the NFL and he lost all of his money, struggling to even make his eye popping $446,000 child support payments. After retirement, this former All-American NFL legend became a pastor. Sadly though, in 2015, news hit that Fryer and his mother were both convicted of mortgage fraud. Fryer was charged with a five year sentence and must pay back $615,000 in restitution. Rightly so.
