Colin Kaepernick, QB, San Francisco 49ers
When it comes to QB Colin Kaepernick, he’s in an entirely different situation going forward as he’s expected to opt out of the final year of his contract. If he doesn’t, then it would seem highly likely the 49ers would release him to avoid being on the hook for his scheduled $14.9 million pay. Statistically speaking, Kaepernick had his best season since his first full season as a starter so the big question is whether a new coach and a new GM would want to keep the same quarterback?
Sam Bradford, QB, Minnesota Vikings
After the Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater suffered a serious knee injury, Minnesota were desperate so they traded a first-round pick and a conditional fourth-round pick to the Phillies in exchange for Bradford. However if Bridgewater proves to be on track to return in 2017, there is a high chance that Bradford will be playing elsewhere.
