Kirk Cousins, QB, Washington

There’s a lot of talk surrounding Kirk Cousins as Washington haven’t outright said they want to keep him, they’ve been twiddling their thumbs, offering no straight answer. Cousins did make it clear that he was willing to play for a one-year franchise tag if that option was presented for a second straight season.

Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, New York Giants

Pierre-Paul’s 2016 season probably came to an end when he underwent surgery to repair a core muscle injury which he sustained during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Of course there is a possibility that he could return for the playoffs, but in all likelihood, he’s most likely played his last game of football in a Giants uniform. However given how many teams are desperate for pass rush help, Pierre-Paul will easily land a contract out of the Giants’ price range during free agency.
