Shortly after, Brett’s wife, Deanna Favre, was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer. Deanna headed in for a routine checkup, informing her physician of a suspected lump in her breast. Once the biopsy results came back, the results confirmed the heartbreaking news.

Following aggressive treatment, Deanna thankfully recovered. Therefore she went on to create The Deanna Favre Hope Foundation, which supports breast cancer education. Furthermore it supports women’s breast imaging and diagnosis services, which includes women who may be medically underserved.
