Coach Favre
In 2012, Brett Favre was hired on as the assistant football coach at Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. That same year, the St. Louis Rams asked Favre to return to the NFL, but he declined the offer. Later Favre admitted that he was suffering from memory loss, which resulted from his many injuries during his pro football career.
Packers Hall of Fame
Unquestionably, Brett Favre is one of the greatest players in Green Bay Packer history. Which makes his induction into the Packers Hall of Fame and also a retirement of his shirt number, totally understandable. “We’re very pleased to announce we will induct Brett Favre, one of the Packers’ greatest players ever, into the Packers Hall of Fame,” said Perry Kidder, the Packers Hall of Fame Inc. President. “The event will mark just the sixth time in our organization’s history that a single person will be inducted, fitting recognition of his elite contributions.”
