Cody Connelly was the shop hand and was practically a third son to Paul Sr.! Heck the family adored him so much, they secretly built him a motorcycle. However problems rose up when the Teutul’s actually refused to grant him his gift in the end. After a few seasons, Cody left! Not long after, he sued for a quarter million dollars, but settled the matter out of court.

Rumors flooded that Orange County Choppers was in serious financial distress. Many people believed they would close the shops forever. Matters even escalated after headquarters and the main shop were put up for sale. Once Paul Sr. made a radio announcement, live, he added that the shop was fine, they were just moving!
