Once the final season of American Chopper was gearing up, Mikey had enough. Furthermore, he realized that Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. were grown ups who needed to deal with their own issues. That’s why he walked out of the show’s final season, he didn’t want to be involved in the spats anymore.

Then again, Mikey was making pretty good money while on the show and even after he left. In fact, he laughs now and wishes he stuck it out a bit more so he could have earned some more cash.
