Edward Furlong, on the other hand, shone from the beginning. He won Teen Idol and went on to portray John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. His act as a skinhead in American History X was praised for its authenticity and lambasted for its horrifying violence. Throughout the years, Furlong has also starred in Pet Sematary 2, American Heart, Detroit Rock City, The Green Hornet, and A Home of Our Own. His acting career continued throughout the 1990s with different degrees of success (including another Terminator picture), and he even recorded a song, Hold on Tight, which was only published in Japan.

Finally, Edward’s life began to spin out of control. His reputation began to deteriorate as a result of his significant drug and alcohol problems, which rapidly deteriorated. In October of 2000, Edward was eventually accepted to treatment. He said, “I was an addict who utilized opium and cocaine. It was quite terrifying. I have not mentioned [partying] in a very long time. Now, playing, clubbing, and coke use appear lonely. I suffer from insomnia when I use hefty medicines.” His prior struggles with drug addiction are evident on his face.
