Rusev and Lana are another WWE pair who have provided fans with a glimpse into the true nature of their relationship via Total Divas. The pair has been rumored to be a duet inside the ring but married in 2016 for genuine. Rusev is dubbed “The Bulgarian Brute” due to his origins in Bulgaria. Lana, on the other hand, was born in Florida, despite her Russian femme fatale plot. They married in two locations: one in the United States and another in Bulgaria.

Who would have guessed that WWE’s infamous romantic plotline was based on true events? For a couple of years, the legendary women’s champion was actually in a relationship with the WWE superstar. Lita, on the other hand, ended up having an affair with Edge, who was still married at the time. WWE exploited the circumstances a few years later to showcase a conflict between the two men. Lita and Edge had a highly sexualized on-screen relationship that appeared to mirror their off-screen one. She eventually began dating CM Punk, while Edge began dating another wrestler.
