Ten years after George Lucas’ prequel trilogy was completed with Revenge of the Sith, Episode VII: The Force Awakens debuted to begin the last three installments of the Skywalker saga. But before the First Order does, Rey learns where Luke is. While Leia (the late Carrie Fisher) concentrates on keeping the Resistance alive and away from Kylo Ren’s forces, Luke (reluctantly) helps Rey learn the ways of the Jedi (and the Force). Rey finds out right away that Kylo might not be her main concern. Even more intimidating than Kylo is a dark power that lurks in the shadows. Supreme Leader Snoke is the name of that danger. Kylo is to assassinate Rey at Snoke’s request in order to increase the strength of the dark side. You’ll be on the edge of your seat while watching this, the penultimate Skywalker movie.
