The drum circle is believed to be the home of the American jam session. A jam session is when music is inspired by someone is playing an instrument or even a community of instruments. Lots of acquaintances and outsiders participated. It was quick to create wonderful music together and have fun!

Setting Up The Sound System
The sound engineer at Woodstock was Bill Hanley. He said the event was successful. He produced custom speakers and installed an array on a tower. It was expected to entertain 150,000 spectators. As we know, the audience was far larger than expected. The sound system was also fantastic.
