There were plenty of stores as well. They marketed clothing, art, and medicines. Woodstock improved the visual and aural feast that was provided. They are also popular at music festivals and concerts. People that did not have anything to turn into were ok. While at the festival, several participants wear tie-dye shirts and presumably brought them around.
