The book was also cited in a famous documentary film. Later, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts existed where the festival was located. It is a center honoring the ’60s music and fashion.

Truly an incredible gathering, Woodstock included performances of the finest artists such as Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, The Who, Santana, Joan Baez, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Grateful Dead, Sonny, and the Family Stone, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, and Neil Youth. Of the 32 acts committed, several of them were conducted over a span of three days. There was a considerable amount of talent on hand at Woodstock which captures what the period was all about.
