Alexandra “Alex” Morgan is an American soccer player who plays as a forward for U.S. club San Diego Wave in the NWSL. She was a prominent figure in the national team between 2018-2020 and was a part of their World Cup success. As well as achieving success in sport in the U.S., the sportswoman has also spent some time in Europe, playing for Olympique Lyonnais in France and Tottenham Hotspur in England.

Tennis player Eugenie “Genie” Bouchard was born in Canada on February 25, 1994. In 2014, she became the first player representing Canada who was born in Canada to make it all the way to the Grand Slam singles final before falling to Petra Kvitová. Bouchard also made it to the semifinals of the 2014 French Open and Australian Open. She won the girls’ Wimbledon championship in 2012, and at the end of the 2013 WTA Tour, she was named WTA Newcomer of the Year.
