Huarmey Queen
The Huarmey Queen, a powerful individual, governed Wari culture. These people lived along the coast of the Andes Mountains and in the south-central Andes for approximately 700 years, between 700 and 1000 AD. This makes her as old as the Great Pyramid of Giza, an astonishing achievement! They found her in the Ancash region, specifically in El Castillo de Huarmey, and rescued her. It was an incredibly well-preserved tomb. She was buried among 57 other noblewomen.
What The Huarmey Queen Really Looked Like
They decided to give the Huarmey Queen a physical form in order to make her appear more realistic. This was made much more intriguing by the fact that she and the noblewomen were discovered in the mausoleum in rows of five. They were buried with silver bowls, diamonds, and other magnificent antiques.
