Tracing The History Of The Shroud
In the 1980s, the Catholic Church finally let scientists inspect the shroud. Scientists used radiocarbon dating equipment to determine that the textile was made between the years 1260 and 1390. This may be a counterfeit. This, of course, did not sit well with some people.
