Jerusalem was later renamed the City of David, as you may know. For four decades, he ruled as King of the Israelites. It was around this time that Jerusalem and Silwan gained a great deal of historical significance. They are, without a doubt, great places to visit if you are interested in history.

Both Jerusalem and Silwan will be treasure troves for archaeologists. There is plenty to see and do in the neighborhood. They’ve been around for millennia in many cases. There’s only one problem.
