Loretta Young began her career when she was two or three years old, in 1917. She continued to act until 1953. She was nominated for an Academy Award for her roles in Come to the Stable and The Farmer’s Daughter over the years. In 1930, she married actor Grant Withers, but soon after, she began an affair with Spencer Tracy, her co-star. She began smoking cigarettes when she was about eight years old. She gave up the harmful habit in the mid-’80s and gained 10 pounds.

She embodies grace and elegance to a tee! She devoted herself to philanthropic initiatives and the development of the arts after becoming Princess of Monaco. We’re still reeling from her horrible accident. She perished in a car accident while driving her child after suffering a stroke behind the wheel. Her daughter had lived, which was wonderful news. We doubt the world will ever forget this elegant and beautiful lady.
