Stalling
Mary’s lawyer kept stalling the children to make sure Mike and some officers could arrive. However, Mary’s oldest son David started to grow suspicious. He kept asking why it takes so long. He just wanted to know what he would get. The lawyer finally sighed and gave in.
Inheritance
He began telling them about their mother’s inheritance and her last will and testament. They were all on the verge of a nervous breakdown. It seemed like a swarm of hyenas anticipating their victim. They gave the lawyer the impression of vultures.
