Ungela Brockman As Corporal Birdie
Ungela Brockman brought Corporal Birdie to life. Lieutenant Rasczak has earned the gratitude and admiration of the Mobile Infantry soldier for saving her life. Ace makes fun of the officer in front of her and will not accept any criticism of him, so she hits him in the face with her gun. Rasczak comes to her rescue yet again after she suffers a setback when she loses an arm. In the final moment, Johnny succeeds in getting her the job she wants. At one point in the movie, the lead character goes up against and defeats the Tanker Bug, the cause of her misery!
