Marshall Bell As General Owen
A cowardly general named General Owen is played by actor Marshall Bell, who provides comic relief in an otherwise somber film. While in Whiskey Outpost, he portrays an officer with a hesitant demeanor who suddenly becomes surprisingly authoritative and pompous in Starship Troopers. Because of this, the outpost was presumed to be free of Arachnids by the captain and his crew. One of the Warrior Bugs discovered the body of an officer who’d been killed in an ambush. In the midst of his pleas for help, a dead Hopper Bug wrecked him, killing him instantly.
