They wished for the baby seals to feel secure enough to remain. When the seals were young, they were more likely to be fearful, and there was a greater chance that they would swim away. The divers made every effort to keep their movements to a bare minimum.

The two divers were not going to let this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shoot these wild animals up close and personally pass them by. Grayson and his buddy, thankfully, were instantly accepted by the seals. The seals began to form a ring around the divers, almost as if they were putting on a performance.
