The Second Seal
In the footage, Grayson appears to be anxious about his diving partner. He became increasingly concerned as the seal chewed his hand. The bites, thankfully, do not appear to be significant. The diver looked to be amused by the seal’s antics.

Grayson then chose to hand up control to the seal. The second seal, meantime, felt it was his turn to be acknowledged and began sniffing Grayson’s feet. After observing the other seal being lavished with affection, he may have been more trustworthy or seeking attention.
