After nuzzling Grayson’s arm, the seal began play-fighting by chewing on his clothes. Meanwhile, the second seal felt safe enough to swim around the divers and go about its business. He’s less trusting and playful than his sibling, but they’re nonetheless close.

The ease with which these seals slid through the water added to the sense that they were entirely content to be in human society. When they’re on land, they normally have to waddle around on their flippers and hop onto rocks or boats. They are, nevertheless, most at peace while immersed.
