Justine was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 35, a disease in which the immune system attacks the brain and spinal cord’s own nerve fibers. Muscle spasms, leg dysfunction, mental changes, as well as other symptoms are all symptoms of the disease. Justine was extremely lucky in that she was still walking.
