Most people, particularly when it comes to providing charity, want to donate to causes that are close and dear to their hearts. But when they see a beggar on the street to making them want to help them out too, it seems to tug on their heartstrings. That’s a wonderful thing generally, but occasionally the individuals we meet on the street aren’t who we say they are. We can never be sure of who we send our money to.
