You don’t really have to specify how you want your bagel cooked when you order one. Toasted can mean anywhere between light brown and medium brown to most people, but this restaurant didn’t quite get the hint. When this person ordered a bagel, this is what they got – a charred mess. Most of us don’t like sending orders back since we think it’s rude. In this case, however, it’s pretty much the only option, as this charred, burnt bagel is inedible. Bagels are quite cheap, costing only $0.92 a bagel, so they can likely spare a redo.

Pre-packaged food is definitely hit or miss. There is no question what this one is. This person ordered a cheeseburger but got this – a burger with a tiny sliver of cheese. It looks like there were no condiments, tomato, or lettuce, but perhaps that is how they wanted it. Getting food to go is always tricky as you don’t usually unwrap it in the shop or restaurant, and you can’t really send it back if they got your order wrong. You can get a refund but returning the food and actually getting the restaurant to give your money back is a lot of work. What’s more, the restaurant can say no.
