Abercrombie & Fitch reported that by February of next year 40 of their stores, mainly in the USA, will be closing down. The number is slightly more compared to the 29 shops that were shut down during 2018. Although it is still not good news, “Some 85 new offerings are being introduced, including 40 new outlets, despite a continued drop in the square film overall,” Business Insider reported that Abercrombie & Fitch continues to invest in their remaining locations.

Towards the end of 2018, Christopher & Banks’ retail store of women’s wear declared its plan to close down roughly 30 to 40 stores over the course of the following two years. Regardless of their new, this does not mean that their profits are declining. The e-commerce division of the company has increased and will continue to grow over this year.
