During this time, Macy began to notice an increasing bond between herself and Bella. Because, even though the dog was in pain, Macy could still sense how much love Bella had to give, and her desire to keep Bella grew stronger by the day. This, however, brought with it some difficulties.

Because Macy already lived in a small apartment and barely had enough money to support herself, giving Bella the life she deserved would be a real challenge. Not to mention the puppies Bella was looking forward to. Macy could not possibly handle that many dogs. But she adored Bella and wanted to assist her in any way she could.
