She was a far cry from the majority of the other female competitors, standing 5 foot 11 inches and weighing an imposing 272 pounds. Stevens has made the transition into acting in recent years, starring as Tammé Dawson in the hit Netflix series GLOW.

Maria Sharapova, the Russian tennis superstar, has recently appeared in Billions and The Morning Show, as well as a brief cameo in Ocean’s 8. In 2005, the then-18-year-old told the Los Angeles Times about a growth spurt that took her to 6 feet 2 inches in height. Sharapova stated that she experienced back pain as a result of it – similar to an earlier growth spurt during which she grew three inches in a matter of months. Awful.
