J.K Rowling portrayed Ginny as having “bright brown eyes” with “vivid, flaming red” hair “worn as a long mane”. Although this is most fitting with actress Bonnie Wright, who has striking green/blue eyes. One of the differences between the two lies in the similarities between the Weasley siblings. While Wright didn’t really have a striking resemblance to her movie siblings, besides for the shocking red hair, the books say Ginny is supposed to look a lot more like her brothers. “Her resemblance to Fred and George was suddenly striking,” Rowling wrote about Ginny in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
