The scene at Platform 9 and 3/4 wasn’t actually filmed between platforms 9 and 10. The Platform 9 3/4 scene was filmed at King’s Cross. However, because the environment was more cinematic, the sequence was shot between platforms 4 and 5. The exterior photo for King’s Cross Station was actually taken at St. Pancras Station.
