He went to sleep with an empty stomach, and when he woke up, his head felt heavier. The loud chattering from people going about their day, and the buzzing of busy streets brought him back to reality. With the bright sun rays hitting his face, he inhaled the smoke from the city cars. Noah groaned and got up from the old bench where he slept. The old homeless guy rubbed his eyes to remove the remainders of sleep and secured his worn-out backpack. He had used the bag as a pillow. However, he noticed there was something squeezed in its open pocket. His forehead creased.

Noah (real name undisclosed) was a homeless man in his late 70’s, and he used to wander around the urban jungle of L.A. in California. Sometimes, he could be seen sleeping at an open park or the side streets. He would be lucky if no officer apprehended him while he crashed on a bench. However, that day, he was even luckier. Something out of the ordinary happened to this homeless guy.
