We appreciate the desire to extend the life of our couches, but we do not propose covering them with plastic to protect them from injury. Even if everything were in perfect condition, it would be unappealing to look at. We should consider taking a minor risk to avoid making our couches unsightly and to allow our sofas to be seated properly without being constrained. We could conceal the problem areas, and everyone would be pleased with the finished result.
