The fact that indoor carpets are not works of art must be kept in mind; they must be linked to something else in the environment. Because they make a room appear uncomfortably large and out of proportion, floating area rugs are not recommended. A rug that is placed haphazardly might throw the entire room’s dcor out of balance.
