Hanging On To Your Sleigh Bed
A sleigh bed in our bedroom used to denote that we belonged to a certain socioeconomic class, but that age is long gone. We could tell the sleigh bed was in bad shape today since it seemed and sounded awkward. Sleigh beds are lovely, but if we wanted a true bedroom, we should have chosen regular beds rather than sleigh beds. The standard bed would still be more inviting in our room than the king-size bed.
Using Carpet Anywhere
Shags were very fashionable in carpets in the 1970s, and the style should have stayed popular during that time period. Shag carpet has the distinct disadvantage of being exceedingly difficult to maintain and keep clean in comparison to traditional carpet. Ruggable carpets, as opposed to shag, can be washed in the washing machine, therefore that would be the greatest option if we wanted a rug.
