In 2016, Joanna and Chip Gaines of Fixer Upper fame found themselves in a dispute about a parking spot. It all started when the reality TV show stars put up a gate on an alley beside the Magnolia Market at the Silos complex. Even though they did not really own the space, they struck an agreement with the leaseholder so that they could use it as free parking for their customers.
