With his floppy blonde hair and serious demeanor, you can say that Billy Smith did not look like he planned to mess around as Thunder. With a weight of 280 lbs., he was totally into the idea of body-slamming the Contenders. Once he got bored with the bodybuilding aspect of the show, he started to focus on science and nutrition in the early ‘90s. Now, he is the owner and CEO of a business called Intrafitt Enterprises. It helps athletes pick exercise programs and specialized nutrition plans tailored to suit their needs. He used to be married to Panther, a fellow Gladiator, but things did not last.

After Storm got a knee injury, Panther was the one to hop in and join the Live Tour. Even though she showed promise as an alternate on the show, she never appeared on the show. However, she did find love on the show! She and Thunder got married after they fell for each other during training. After her time on American Gladiators, she made a name for herself as one of the top-ranking and most well-respected adventure sports athletes out there. She and Thunder have since gotten divorced.
