Even before she landed a gig on American Gladiators, Tonya Knight was a pretty big deal already. As a matter of fact, she had been one of the most accomplished professional bodybuilders on the planet! She won competitions in different parts of the globe left and right. She was on the show from 1990 to 1992 and used the name Gold. However, she had to retire after a knee injury. On another note, she found love with John Poteat, who is the twin brother of Atlas. Even though they eventually went their own ways, they welcomed a son called Malachi.
