3. Incredible Birthmark
Birthmarks, which are scientifically known as Melanocytic nevus, are among the more common genetic abnormalities. You probably know many people with them. They can appear anywhere in the body and vary in color and shape. This young man, however, has an incredibly placed birthmark that has not only lightened his skin by his forehead but a section of his hair, too. It is almost as if he has been blessed by some magical being, or marked for some incredible purpose.
4. Vitiligo
While it is amazing when you find someone that has the same unique quality that you do, can you imagine finding a dog? This is Carter Blanchard, aged 8 years old, and his best friend, Rowdy. They may be different species, but both dog and human share the same genetic disorder called vitiligo. This generally harmless disease will cause lighter patches of skin to spread across one’s body due to melanin irregularities. We hope that Carter and Rowdy will always look out for one another.
