14. Ball State: Scheumann Stadium
Muncie, Indiana
Scheumann Stadium would never make a Top 10 list from Ball State alum David Letterman. In 2007, the almost 50-year-old venue named its gridiron in 1967 and seated 22,000 individuals, underwent a major renovation. Most people agree that there isn’t a bad seat in the house at Scheumann Stadium. But the atmosphere of the game day can be abysmal because the Cardinals have struggled with attendance for years and have had trouble attracting top-name players and opponents. The building itself isn’t bad, but fans gripe about the parking.
13. University of Akron: InfoCision Stadium
Akron, Ohio
The Akron Zips have tried to rebuild their attendance numbers that fell after some awful seasons, including three straight seasons, each ending with only one win and 11 losses, from 2010 to 2012. Akron had just a 4-and-8 record in 2018. Therefore the InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field, built brand-new in 2009, may still lack fans and team spirit.
