Buffalo, New York

UB Stadium can hold over 30,000 fans, but for some games, the Bulls have drawn fewer than half that number. The 25-year-old field of the team may have something to do with the lackluster attendance. In their marketing, the Bulls say that their goal is to provide the UB Stadium with a more family-friendly football experience.

Evanston, Illinois

Northwestern brings to historic Ryan Field (previously known as Dyche Stadium) some of the nation’s best teams, yet the stands are often half-empty. Home to the decorated Northwestern Wildcats, the stadium can hold over 40,000 people but has not been renovated since 1996. The stadium has some of the best sightlines in the Big Ten, but some fans say Ryan is old, outdated, and needs better amenities, including a new Jumbotron, which opened in 1926.
