An Unhappy Chicken
Unlike other signs of this kind, this one does not give a description of a lost animal so that people may identify if it is theirs. So is most likely due to the impossibility of there being that many people who have lost a chicken. On the other hand, would someone attempt to steal a chicken that wasn’t theirs? It would be strange to do that. We wouldn’t, however, rule out the chance that some people would actually do that.

Pigeons all look alike and don’t stay in one place for very long, so if you become friends with one you’re in for a difficult time. It’s not a bad idea to try to find your friend once more. However, it’s unlikely to be successful given the vast clone army of pigeons. Perhaps a corvid would make a better best bird companion for this man. They are a much better option in this case.
