Not This Time!
A lioness’s role in the pride is to take care of the cubs, as well as hunt for their food. But there are times when the animal kingdom would surprise everyone with what would happen. One of which would be this instance where a photographer happened to capture a moment where two different species were forming a special bond as a lioness approached a baby deer. At first, the photographer was terrified as he expected the lioness to take the calf as its snack. Whenever we see a lion and a deer together, we pretty much know what would happen next, but this time, you would be surprised with what had happened.

A Dangerous Combination
Certainly, a baby deer and a lioness are a dangerous combination of animals to be together, right? After all, you would expect that the baby deer would be eaten by the lioness. The lioness is one of the top predators in the food chain and the fact that poor baby deer is certainly no match for the lioness’s powerful jaws. However, the interaction that happened between the two will surely surprise you.
