A Very Rare Find
Even though he was rather chubby, Shadow was in good shape. In fact, the staff members were shocked when they met him. Lee Stewart is the manager at Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre. He said that Shadow “is the first silver fox we have ever had here at Stapeley Grange, in nearly 25 years, we have been open.”

The center has been open for 25 years or so now, and many animals have come through its doors. It handles thousands of animals every single year. They have dealt with injured or orphaned bats, owls, hedgehogs, and even seals! As you can see, it was not like they were new to this job at all.
