Luby’s
Did you know that the well-known franchise Luby’s Inc. has several affiliates that are popular restaurant chains such as Luby’s, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Koo Koo Roo, and Fuddruckers? First established in Texas 72 years ago, the company was formerly called Luby’s Cafeterias, Inc. before switching its brand. Luby’s has 83 branches around Houston and one in Mississippi. Houston now hosts its headquarters, but Luby’s was actually first established in San Antonio. They did however announce that they would be shutting down its branches that have failed to succeed. Unfoteunetly this is not the first time this restaurant has done something like this. Before when they closed down their stores they claimed a $6.6 million profit, which naturally helped them a lot.

Steak ‘N Shake
Steak n’ Shake is located in Illinois and was first established in 1934. At the moment, the restaurant is based in America, Southwest Europe, and the Middle East. There are currently 628 locations, 214 of which are franchised. The company is seeking a franchise partner but is simultaneously planning on closing down several restaurants.
