As her fame grew, she also changed her image. Her manager agreed with her that it was time for her to change her style and get an upgrade. She did not like her teeth, which might have something to do with the mean nickname tabloid magazines gave her: Canine Dion. She got it fixed sometime in the mid-‘80s.
