When Marilyn Monroe Wears Pink, She Looks Gorgeous

After a year, they were able to resume their collaborative efforts. This time, it was for a swimwear spread at Greenacres, his mansion in the California countryside. Marilyn Monroe relished her time with Jim at the estate, owing to the fact that she was alone at the time. His daughter reported that she was a pleasant house guest; she was my age or perhaps a year or two younger than me. She talked about how she hoped to have a child someday in the future.

After His Capture, A German Teen Soldier Is In distress.

It’s uncommon to locate WWII photographs that aren’t laden with sentimental baggage. Take a look at this photograph of Hans-Georg Henke, a 16-year-old German soldier. On April 3, 1945, the 9th Army of the United States of America captured him. It appears that his parents died a year before, and that awful incident led to his decision to join the Luftwaffe. Astonished and crying, according to photographer John Florea, was the boy’s reaction. He was a little youngster who had to endure the worst of the war’s atrocities.
